Literature is one of my top subjects!

A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught two years of middle school and home schooled my daughter. I have worked as a substitute teacher on and off for several years. My emphasis in college was English and Math so I feel very comfortable teaching either of these subjects as well as reading.
My teaching style is flexible. Students learn in different ways and at different paces. It is my job to discover how the students learn and what they respond best to. From a very early age, I have always wanted to teach. I love the way a student lights up when everything connects and they finally understand the topics. I earned my BA in Secondary English Education and my Student teaching semester was extremely rewarding.
