My teaching style depends on the student, but I like to use demonstrations, work through a problem instead of giving a problem, and I use visual learning methods (pictures and examples)
I graduated high school in 2013 and became a student at Adams State University in the fall of 2013. I then moved to Georgia and I am currently working through my application process to Columbus State University. My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : I am well experienced with reading ,and enabling comprehension. During my summer volunteer hours I was able to work with all types off students.So I took in a great amount of general information of how to treat different cases of comprehension and reading disabilities. I scored 94/99 on my recent compose test .

I have volunteered over 80 hours combined from the summers of 2011-2012.I've worked with a diverse amount of students ages varying.Although I do mainly focusing on K-1 ,I am capable of helping any elementary student become successful and improve there selves in what ever it is that there struggling in. I am patient,because I know how it feels to have a disorder not being able to learn at the same pace.I have been in your child's shoes before so usually kids with disorders connect with me quicker then others .
Patients is my number 1 key all kids do not learn at the same pace.When I work with a child I learn there speed so that they don't feel pushed or rushed ,and I work (sometimes off duty) to figure out different exercisers to improve there speed and there school work performance.

I am a certified teacher for the Phenix City, Alabama school system. I have 4 years of teaching experience. I have 2 years experience in tutoring. I interned at Lakewood Elementary School in Phenix City, Alabama for first grade and fifth grade. I was then hired on as a second grade teacher upon the conclusion of my internship requirements. I have had experience with tutoring through our school's after school enrichment program, as well as outside/ individual tutoring.
