Native speakers are better language teachers only at the advanced level. For beginning - intermediate level, a teacher who has learned a foreign language is better than a native speaker. I have a clear explanation for many of the problems you are facing, whereas a native speaker may just confuse you more.

A Little Bit About Me...

My first degree in chemical engineering was completed in Lviv, Ukraine with a first class, collecting a litany of awards during the period, especially in applied math and the sciences.My PhD was in Azerbaijan during the Soviet era. For over 20 years I have been in the academia as a professor , examiner, researcher, author,chair of a department and an inventor.
