I feel very comfortable teaching physics, chemistry, calculus and math in general. I have also volunteered my time to assist elementary school students with the language arts: i.e. sentence structure, spelling, grammar, etc.
In general, I like to assist the student visually and with real-life examples of how subjects such as chemistry, physics, and math can be applied to everyday life. My goal is to make learning fun not by lecturing, but encouraging the student to get involved and ask questions. Situations do arise when it is beneficial to lecture and let the student "soak up" k ... read more
