Improving the lives of children has always been a passion of mine. While my academic background has had a focus, primarily, in the social work realm, my overall philosophy for working with youth emphasizes patience and education. I have sought opportunities working with both young children and adolescents. My interest began when I tutored elementary age children during my high school career. I prefer working as a collaborative team with teaching staff/specialists.
