My teaching style is hands on. I always try to make sure you understand the reason behind every change. Ultimately the resume is yours, so if you are 100% uncomfortable with a change, we can work around it. I just have studied and perfected resume formatting and conventions that I hope to use to help others get a their dream job.
My resume was atrocious, but I have completely turned that around, and I can for you. I have extensively studied effective resume writing and various preferred formatting by employers. Most resumes are able to be improved within two hours, but you have to be willing to make that change. A good resume is one that passes the 30 second test. Does yours?

I completed a class in high school named Teach Cadet where I learned the basics about education and the importance of being a versatile teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

For just over a decade I have been involved in some form of peer education or mentoring. As a senior in high school, I tutored students in mathematics and science. My teaching styles vary depending on the student. I had one student who was an adult, moving to Ecuador for 2 years to work. I taught him the basics using methods such as flash cards, workbooks, and homework assignments. We met 3x a week for 3 months. In college I taught a Spanish course for a Christian Highschool near my university. This was rather different since the students were in their early teens. My method with them was 'FUN.' I used pop culture and things that interested them to help them learn. For example: I had them bring in a picture of their favorite celebrity and they had to describe the colors, clothing, and characteristics of that celebrity in Spanish. It was a success.
