I have numerous years of experience substitute teaching. In the Belvidere, Il District I taught mainly special education student. In the 2003-2004 school year I taught half time physical education to at risk high school students at the Regional Learning Center in Rockford. While working as a swimming instructor at J.J. Champions in Pecitonica I taught an Autistic boy how to swim. In my undergraduate degree I took Adaptive Physical Education Courses which lead me to have an interest in teaching special needs students. I received a B.A. in English from Northern Illinois University in 2010. I am a certified High School English teacher for grades 9-12.
