As a student, I always tried my hardest and sought out opportunities to work with children in a variety of settings. I have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and participated in numerous other activities, including Vacation Bible Schools and participating in MECA activities at school. As a child growing up in a community which had many high need areas for education, I found that even with little resources my teachers provided the best education to me which got me an academic scholarship to college.
