My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : Intensive elementary science course taken at MSU.

I have taught a large array of children and adults, anywhere from a 2nd grader struggling with reading to adult Burmese refugees. I have the patience and flexibility to successfully work with anyone. I started tutoring when I was around the age of 13. I taught a young Korean girl English, where I would have to create my own lesson plans. While I attended Okemos high school, I partook in volunteering experiences that dealt with tutoring. For two years, I was placed at an elementary school where I would tutor 1st-5th graders biweekly with anything from basic math to practice with reading. I completed to Calculus III at Michigan State University, receiving a 4.0 in Calculus I. I tutored other students while in high school in math and science related classes. I completed AP Chemistry and AP Calculus in high school. Middle School Phys. Ed. 20 years Adult Ecucation. Subjects taught, American Government, U. S. History, Health Issues. I currently hold a Continuing Certificate from Mich. granted in 1978, and a Professional Certificate from Florida.
