My comments on tutoring College Algebra : Expert

It is based on how the student learns. I like to explain the subject and then give and help workout examples. I learn by this method and have learned most other students do also, however some students need objects or physical representation, especially in lower level mathematics and I can accommodate every method of learning.
While attending California State University of San Bernardino and working on my bachelors degree in mathematics I had many opportunities to gain experience. I was a private tutor which included students from elementary, middle, and high school. One child I tutored, who was in middle school, was very bright but had ADHD and it was difficult for him to concentrate. I worked with him for about a year and by the time he was ready for high school, he was at the top of his class and was ready to start Geometry in high school. I also served as a private tutor for high school or college chemistry and all mathematics courses.
