Flute is one of my top subjects! I have played the flute for eleven years, have an A.S. in music and am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Music Education at Eastern Washington University.

I believe in a rich curriculum that balances the acquisition of basic technical skills such as scale proficiency and finger exercises with learning musicality through expressive solo pieces. My students will learn good practicing techniques, and how to play well alone and as well as in an ensemble, be that band, orchestra, or with a chamber group or piano.
I have been playing the flute for eleven years and have performed with the North Idaho College Wind Symphony and the Eastern Washington University Symphonic Band as well as competing in solo events such as the Musicfest Northwest Concerto competition. I also have musical background in voice and choir, and have lead the church choir of Our Lady of Guadelupe Church in Spokane. My Educational background is in Music Theory and Education.
