I started in school system in 1999..I became a mentor working with at risk students I wanted to help students who lacked confidence, had low academic test scores, and lower level learners.I worked in Special Ed. for 5 yrs as teachers aide grades 6th, 7th, and 8th.I worked in the after school program teaching 4th and 5th grade combo. I have a Bachelors Degree, and have four classes toward a Masters. I began substitute teaching, learning handicapped, pre-k,k-3,and infant developement. I always praised my students for making an effort. When they felt good about themselves it showed in the quality of their work. I always let them know that if they applied themselves they could achieve anything.
