Not only working with children, but teaching them has always been a passion of mine. I have worked at the YMCA of the Sierra for almost 4 years, and tutoring children through UNR has been such a pleasure and privilege. I have gained the insight and honest understanding that any child, with specialized help, can move far beyond their educational and emotional expectations and abilities, proving to especially themselves their own potential. I used the method of Behavior Analysis during my tutoring of Autistic children, which has truly taught me a lot in respect to creative methods and organized procedures for teaching and/or tutoring children.
