My comments on tutoring Geography : I have taught physical and social Geography.

I am a Social Studies teacher in the state of Pennsylvania. I graduated from an NCATE accredited university that has a rigorous education program. In that program, I was required to teach elementary students, middle school students, high school students, college students, and adult classes. I have been teaching for three years and tutoring for five years. I have taught multiple types of learners in multiple subjects with a significant amount of success.
I am a great speaker, and I can easily relate to my students. I push my students thoroughly to reach their objectives, because I do not believe there is anyone who cannot learn a subject. My approach to teaching is more of a "why" approach. It is more important for students to know why something is or works rather than just how. This approach works well for middle and high school students. It allows students not only to understand the ideas taught but to apply them to other areas as well.
