Hello! Thank you for your time. In the summer of 2002, I tutored children from ages 6-12 years at an educational camp. I usually tutor young adults, focusing on conversational English, as well as grammar and writing. In addition, I am an editor/consultant for many professionals in writing composition, speeches and presentations, and editing documents. Diverse background with ability to adapt learning

I have always been a very curious and academic person. I love to learn and like to pass that on to my students. It makes it easier because I have really lived a lot of the things I teach. I grew up in a small town in Idaho and excelled in both my Math and Science classes. At 16 I decided I needed to see the world so I moved to Argentina as an exchange student. I spent a year learning both the culture and language of the country. I was able to travel a lot and really felt like a member of their society. I returned and finished my senior year of high school. Math is different from most subjects in that the learning does not begin until the application, theories, and formulas are put to practice. I am an expert at conveying complex mathematical theories and formulas to students in a manner that makes Math enjoyable. My teaching style is to make learning Math interactive and very hands on.
