We talk through the assignment and I let them explain to me why they are doing what they are. If it isn't the correct answer to the problem, we review the material again and go over why it isn't correct. I try to give different ways and examples until I see that lightbulb go off letting me know that they understand. As a parent, I know the importance of being patient and understanding. I tutored mainly math at FMCC for about 1.5 years while still attending school, but also tutored in a variety of subjects ranging from english to science to business to accounting.
