I am an Ivy League Graduate with Doctoral level graduate Studies from Indiana University. My minor for each of my study areas is Psychology. I have taught multiple subjects in academic, corporate, public service, K-12, and Emergency Medical Services and have been in training and education all of my professional career, currently tutoring in the Kalamazoo Public School systems. At Hope College I received a liberal arts education. So even though I have a degree in music theatre, I am also well-educated in other fields. For instance I wasn't required to take Calculus in college, however, I took this challenging course and I passed the class with an A. I have also worked at the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre as a teacher’s assistant and camp assistant the past three summers. These camps work with kids from ages 9-13. Along with looking out for the safety of the children, I participated in activities and helped come up with material. I have also worked as a director, producer, and a choreographer. Al though I have never technically tutored or taught a child writing, I am interested in helping aid a child's learning experience. I am extremely personable and social, and would get along great with any child. I am patient, understanding and eager to provide my extensive knowledge of writing to those that need help. As a current student at Central Michigan, I continue to strive for the best education I can possibly achieve.
