A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with at-risk children in the Chicago Public Schools system to teach a wide range of skills, primarily focusing on college readiness skills, essay and resume writing, ACT preparation, and remedial and advanced reading techniques. I am also highly qualified to teach speech and journalism, and have a year of experience in each as well. I feel I can make the most impact on students when I work with them one-on-one, and so I am excited to transition from the full-time teaching to the tutoring field.
I consider myself to be fun and entertaining and very approachable in my teaching methods. I never lose patience with students and believe that making mistakes is equally as important as making progress.
