As a Penn State graduate, I was motivated to achieve a high level of excellence in my teaching career. I maintained my standing on the Dean's List all eight semesters of my college career and received numerous scholarships and awards. I was chosen as one of the 56 Penn State Elementary Education majors to participate in the Professional Development School (PDS), a year long, full-time student teaching internship in collaboration with the State College Area School District. During my internship, I acquired a deep knowledge of incorporating technology into the classroom, as well as differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
