I have earned a bachelor's degree in computer science because computers are the tool with the most potential to enable us to understand the world, second only to the mind. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been an engineer for many years and use math and computers on a daily basis. I enjoy solving math problems and am particularly good at it. I tutored elementary math in high school and taught a 16 week shop math class to Mechaincs where I worked as an engineer twice for free. I frequently help people with math and computer programs. I have a great interest in computers and am very good at Microsoft Word and Excel and AutoCAD. A Little Bit About Me...

Even before I went to college and earned my B.A., I had already taught two years of ESL in Kachin State, Burma. I came back to the US and earned my degree in East Asian Studies at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. A few months after I graduated I went to the People's Republic of China and taught English as a Second Language from 2003 through 2006. In addition, I have completed all coursework for my M.A. in General Education, however, I have not finished the degree which requires student teaching. I am currently employed as a substitute teacher for two local school districts.
