Graduated with a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences Degree from Texas A&M Commerce. Received an EC-4th Generalist certification and an EC-12th All Level certification from ECAP. In home tutored Autistic students for several years. Performed in a traveling children's theatre troupe and in entertainment at Six Flags Over Texas and traveled with the company to open new parks. My comments on tutoring Drama : 8 yrs in drama from dramatic to musicals, onstage to stagecraft

I've either taught or tutored in some form or fashion for over 17yrs now. I've had ages 3yrs to 22yrs old covering all manner of subjects and hobbies. One of my most rewarding experience was with an 18 year old special needs 10th grader ready to drop out of school. We met 2-3x a week for 6mths. In that time he raised his GPA from 1.2 to 2.7. He completed his 10th grade year and went on to take and pass the G.E.D. the following year.

Everyone needs help now and again!

I find most children at young ages are visual learners, but I am easily adjustable to many teaching styles to fit the students needs.
I have worked with children ages 5 and up for a few years now. I have 3 siblings all 8 years or more younger than me, and have had lots of experience with children in elementary school. I have tutored middle school students after hours, and have worked with Special Needs children throughout my summers and within my school.

Drama is one of my top subjects! I have been in Drama for the past 15 years.

My teaching style is a demonstrator. I like teacher-centered classes with an emphasis on demonstration and modeling. I try to act like a role model by demonstrating skills and processes and then as a guide in helping students develop apply theses skills and knowledge.
