Math Can be Fun!

I have been tutoring in mathematics from basic elementary math to Calculus I for the last 10 years. Studying engineering showed me how meticulous I had to be with my study habits and I am now able to teach other students these same tips. I try to meet my student’s needs by listening and patiently repeating a problem until concepts are grasped and applied. I am at ease working with students who view math as their worst subject and need to have concepts explained in various ways. In each of the math topics I review with a student I try to merge its mathematical and scientific history into the session to help make it more relevant to each student.
