Having a hindsight to my childhood, I could vividly remember the time I asked my mother to translate a sentence from Persian into English and learn me how to say to me very dear uncle to become his eye apple. I started learning English language from the time I was as tall as a little girl hardly could carry her bag pack to school, but eager enough to put two more other English books to go to Navid English Language Institute. This story was going on by the time I got my English Diploma chest to chest with my Experiential Science Diploma from High School in 2002. I try to inspire my students with real life stories about France. Having spent several years there, I have had many cultural experiences that I bring into the classroom. Students enjoy hearing stories that they can relate to. It helps them appreciate the language and culture when they feel that they can identify with it from stories as opposed to reading a textbook.
I have taught French for over 3 yrs. During that time I would like to think that I made a difference in some students' lives.
