My comments on tutoring GRE : Subject test - chemistry

Teaching is a vital to any academic career. My goal as a teacher is to effectively communicate the subject matter in an interesting way to the student in order to create an atmosphere conducive to learning. I would use number of methods such as in-class participation, demonstration-Supplemented Lectures, development of internet resources and research papers to clearly convey principles relevant to the chemistry classes I would teach. In addition, through the feed back from students and peers, I will continually strive to improve my teaching abilities. I enjoy helping other people learn, and I get a sense of satisfaction when they grasp new information. I have tutored students needing help with homework assignments or studying for an exam. I requested that they bring their notes and textbook so that I use them as a reference when teaching. I can either answer specific questions or walk through the material. I ask the student questions about the material to make sure they understand the information completely.
