I have taught myself ASL for the last 4 years, and only recently took a class. I was too advanced for the class, and all the other classes offered, and now I meet with my teacher once a week to practice. I am in college to become an ASL Interpreter. Aside from the language itself, I also know a lot about deaf culture and I am more that happy to tutor for either subject.

Being a CODA, child of deaf adults, has allowed me to be fluent in mine and my parent's native language of American Sign Language. Through my 13 years of professional work in the sign language field, I have tutored and taught sign language and have mainly worked as a sign language interpreter for the Deaf and hearing community.
