I am currently teaching English as a second language to post-secondary international students at California State University Sacramento. I teach all areas of English, including grammar, composition, reading, and listening and speaking skills. I have taught beginning English to refugees in Sacramento, as well as English as a foreign language in Guatemala and Honduras. I have taught both adults and children and love both populations of learners. I am also currently tutoring three Chinese girls with various proficiencies in English. I have worked with students from various language backgrounds including but not exclusive to Arabic, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, African dialects and others. My teaching style is to individualize instruction for each child. I believe that every child has their own way of learning and I would teach in a way so that they could be successful.
