I am a very firm believer that each human being has a different way of learning. I also believe that each subject has a different way to be taught. I teach based off of my students, as well as the subject.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style has been a product of working primarily with middle school kids. I believe that the hands on approach is the best way to reach these students. Using visual aids, manipulatives, foldables, and other materials provided can be extremely useful tools to reach them. Being actively involved in the learning process allows students to learn while they do not realize it.

My teaching style I would describe two-fold: First, my military background taught me their three step process; tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, and then tell them what you told them and my own personal style which is a hybrid of the discovery method and guided question and answer.
