There is a way to reach every child. It is my responsibility to figure out how an individual child learns best, and then use it to show him learing is fun! I vary my teaching style. Some students are content with just reading while others need hands-on and visual experience. I tutored the child through basic math, science, reading, and various school projects. I obtained invaluable teaching experience on a personal and professional level. During college, I declared my major in Microbiology/Pre-med. I believe that each child learn differently, and as such, I have found the best way to teach is to cater to each child's individual learning style. In working one-on-one with students, I feel as though it is crucial to build a trusting relationship in which the child feels comfortable stating whether or not the teaching style I am using is working for them.
