I completed my Ph.D. degree in Marine Biology and have been working at a university for 10 years in New Jersey. I have extensive teaching experience. For years, I have been directing and training undergraduate and high school students in genetics. I have two summers worth of experience as a tour guide for the Island Beach State Park nature center and for the Sedge Island Natural Resource Education Center. During my time there, I have developed educational programs as well as led tours through various aspects of the natural history in the one of a kind ecology of the barrier island. I have experience in teaching kids as young as elementary school to adults. I have also done research on diamondback terrapins in Barnegat Bay.
