During my tenure in the classroom, I justified that all students can learn and perform above average if given the appropriate environment, and the teacher is in the best position to enact it. I strongly express my passion for what I do, and this has a ripple effect on the students, who in return express passion for their class. I use positive approach to teaching, guaranteeing all my students that they cannot fail if we all stick to the plan (and I mean it). In addition, speaking word of motivation and encouragement help students to get up when you are not there. In summary, I don’t quit on any student, and no one that steps into my class or tutoring session leaves the same (my math/science jokes bring them back).

To some people mathematics is a boring science of calculations, formulas, and strange symbols. However, to me it’s about finding the best solution; it’s about analyzing and solving challenging problems. I was able to gain knowledge in my general courses such as calculus, linear algebra, differential equations for my continuing education at NJIT.
