Teaching has been something I have done a great deal of my life no matter what path I was on. When I was in nursing school, patient teaching was a strong point of mine. I love children. At that time, the market was flooded with new graduates with degrees in Elementary Education; therefore, I took a position working for the State of Oklahoma. I currently have a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in elementary education. During the past 4 years and working in the early childhood education industry I realized that many teachers were not getting the proper training that they needed to receive to help the children that they are serving. Once I realized this I decided to work on my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in hopes that i could be an Early Childhood College Professor and teach students the ins and outs of the early childhood industry.
