I feel that the best teachers are the ones who have fun while teaching. I have had the fortune of always loving what I do. All children have the potential to acheive success if they are challenged and provided with the proper tools. I have been told several times that I am great at thinking "outside the box", and this has served the children I have worked with well.My background in Art and Special Ed allow me to be a practical and creative teacher. I have learned that not all learning is conducted through traditional manners. Some children require videos, others hands on experience to improve learning. I had, at one point in middle school, helped to tutor some students in one of my classes. While in college at Susquehanna University, I had the priveledge of tutoring pre-calculus to local Selinsgrove High School students. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to share my passion for math with others.
