I am a former Geology student at SUNY Cortland who graduated May 2015. Throughout my career I have proven my strengths in knowing, understanding, communicating, and sharing Geology/Earth Science. In high school I took basic Earth Science earning a 100 as a grade in the class and also received a 100 grade for the NYS Regents Exam. I continued this in college graduating Magna Cum Laude with multiple appearances on the president's/dean's lists and earned several awards for success in Geology. I received my Bachelors degree in Computer Art and feel my passion for the field as well as my strong design and color sensibility would be an asset to have in a one-on-one tutor situation. In the past I have developed strong communication, process management, and organizational skills that have certainly contributed to the knowledge and portfolio I have today. The majority of my work is done using the programs of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Indesign, and of course knowing Photoshop). I'm a fifth-teen year old, currently enrolled at Thomas J. Corcoran High School, where I am a sophomore I currently take IB classes and wanted to start tutoring to pass the time and pick up a little extra cash. I'm drug free and have never tasted alcohol. I try to be patient and usually am. I'd prefer to work with children still in elementary or middle school, seeing as I haven't learned everything yet. I know the basic and more to just about everything eighth grade and below. Typically the setting in which the tutoring will take place will be my house in my dining room area and after that the student may watch television until his or her parent or guardian is there to pick them up.
