My teaching style varies according to the needs of the student.
My teaching experience includes over twenty years in Texas public schools. I have taught science to grades six through twelve that include AP Biology, PreAP Biology, Biology, AP Chemistry, PreAP Chemistry, Chemistry, GMO, and Environmental Science. My comments on tutoring Algebra I : We have both online and Austin area in-home tutors for math. Each has either a science degree that involved math up to Calculus or higher, or a math Degree. I'm a 19 year old girl from Italy. Blinn college recruited me as a volleyball player, so I'm living my new experience in the USA as a freshman. I love to travel and I've travelled a lot. For the non-reading adults I started by teaching them letter recognition and basic sounds; moved on to simple words; then sentances. During my college class I would review the evening's lesson and goals, then have the students perform the exercise in the textbooks.
