A Little Bit About Me...

I have graduated high school, not only with honors but also in National Honor Society. I am currently enrolled in college and have completed Composition 1 and 2, College Algebra, Pre-Cal, and Statistical Mathematical Methods, Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2 along with multiple other credits. I am currently in National Honor Society in college as well.
I'm very hands on and like to show each problem step by step. I like to use a very visual method so that they not only hear what I am teaching, but can see it as well.

My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have a minor in English and used to help my friends with their essays.

I always adjust my teaching styles to the child I am working with.
I have taught for seven years in various levels of special Ed. I have also worked in 5th grade for two years and two years in kindergarten.I have wanted to work as a teacher since I was young playing school with my brothers. A Little Bit About Me...

I design the lesson to the learning preference of the student. I incorporate technology, visual, tactile and kinesthetic teaching styles. This gives the student the maximum opportunity to learn. If a student is having trouble with reading comprehension there are various skill sets a child learns in order to help with standardized tests. I have experience in that area. An understanding of literary elements can also enhance a child's understanding of literature and reading. The ultimate goal is for the child to be able to read for gaining information, but also understanding of the world and experiences around them and from other people.
