I hold a BS from PSU in Finance with a minor in Economics. I earned my MBA while working full time in less than 2 years. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that learning through hands-on experience is the best way to fully comprehend material. I want to interest students in academics. To accomplish this, a teacher must show how math, or reading is useful; how anything can be exciting. I want to make learning fun. And I use a variety of tactics to accomplish this.
I recently graduated from Bard College, a selective liberal arts school in New York. I have taken classes in a variety of subjects including biology, french, history, and writing. I recently completed a 90 page thesis. I have excellent critical thinking and writing skills, which have served me well as a student. As a tutor, I strive to engage my students in thinking complexly about the topic at hand. I have experience tutoring middle school aged children in music, math, and writing. I started my college education at Stanford University but finished up Cal State Stanislaus University with a degree in physical education and biology. I then taught primarily language arts and science at the middle school level for three years. After satisfying my educational wanderlust, I am now re-entering the educational field.
