Not every method works for every child; with one exception, patience. I demonstrate and exemplify patience. If a child feels as though they are in an atmosphere where they are safe, free of ridicule and bias, then they are willing to perform. This process can be a give take scenario however. So, some flexibility is required as well, but eventually the student will become more comfortable with themselves and confident in what they are capable of.

I believe that learning through hands-on experience is the best way to fully comprehend material. I want to interest students in academics. When I was in the classroom I prided myself in "getting the educational job" done while at the same time having some fun.
