I am a behavioral specialist with 12 years of experience working with individuals between the ages of 2 and 19 who have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, Traumatic Brain Injury, emotional disturbance, Autism, Downs Syndrome, and other developmental disorders. Drawing is one of my top subjects!

I'm most effective as a weekly, 2 hour, instructor. I work best with individuals or small groups but any reasonably sized class is acceptable. The first lesson has traditionally been (for the first hour) a "diagnostic" lesson where i see how well you can replicate a 2D image in front of you, then a variation of that image you generate in your imagination. After this I usually teach my students how any image is made from a composite of different shapes, and how to recognize these shapes and use them as building blocks to create images. I bring supplemental materials that teach about 1 and two point perspective as well as light sources. I'm currently trying to find a good resource for worksheets to use as homework/study material.
