My job at Trenholm occasionaly required me to tutor more than one person. I emplement many differnt teaching stragies depending on the students needs. A student may require implements to learn a lesseon, or may require visual attetion while other are audio learns. It is hard to say till you learn the student.
I started my tutoring experience in the math Lab at AUM when they stared up and continued until till I gratuated. I then started tutoring with the Learning center at AUM for several years. As the valedictorian of my high school class, I know that all children have the ability to achieve their highest level of education with proper mentoring, coaching and training. I truly enjoy teaching math and enjoy watching the 'click' when a student begins to understand the concepts. I believe many students have been erroneously convinced that "they don't get math" or that math is too hard. Also in summer 2009, I started tutoring high school students from Bibb, Chilton, & Shelby counties through the Upward Bound program at the University of Montevallo.
