Younger students catch on very quickly to what it is I am teaching. If they don't catch on quick, then no problem. I'm very patient and never give up until a student understands the concept. I then build on that trust factor while helping the students with their homework. I connect well with students and they trust me. I truly enjoy when I get the chance to work one-on-one with a student. I am the kind of teacher you will see sitting on the floor with a student, acting things out in front of the class, making up songs to go with the curriculum, and full of energy. I understand the difficulty that many children have when learning in a noisy, busy, and crowded classroom.
