Believe in yourself, and you are half-way there!

I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I love being able to help students feel comfortable with the material they are studying. I have tutored numerous times throughout college, and would like to get back into tutoring students because I find it to be rewarding. As a student who went from living in Germany and being taught that there are many ways of getting the right answer, to moving to America where everything is taught in one way, I have learned to incorporate my tutoring skills to the need of each individual student. I try to figure out what works best for every individual and help them focus on their strength and improve their weaknesses.

A Little Bit About Me...

During the past four years of my undergraduate study, I have been given many opportunities to work and explore outside of my degree in piano performance. I was able to take a class about working with exceptional learners. Outside of the classroom, I have had the opportunity to counsel children with special needs during summer programs and a winter ski program.
