As a Substitute Teacher, Capital Area Intermediate Unit, I taught a variety of courses in mathematics and science in several school districts. As an adjunct Chemistry professor (Shippensburg University 2007 to present) I was the primary instructor for a section of general chemistry laboratory course as well as a section of chemistry for non science majors.

I graduated with a degree in earth science education in 1995. I worked for several years as a substitute teacher and then returned to college to gain biology certification. I worked at a local high school for five years teaching seventh grade science and senior high general science. For the last six years I have worked for a head start program. I am a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania. I obtained a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Math. I have always had a good understand of the sciences and mathematics. I have learned good written skills due to many research papers and laboratory reports. Throughout college I was a laboratory assistant for a physical chemistry lab and helped prepare the chemicals for the organic chemistry labs.
