I enjoy teaching adults as well as high school students. I do not have much training teaching below junior high; however, I am confident that I could successfully teach math or language. Although, I don't mind the traditional classroom setting, I am quite used to instructing on a one-to-one basis. Our GED programs are completely individualized for learners to move at their own pace, and I encourage this type of teaching style when manageable. Many of the students/adults that I have worked with have a learning disability of some sort, but I feel that I learn from each student just as much as they are learning from me. I enjoy teaching and couldn't see myself doing much else.

I worked in Sandy Valley High Schools 2 years as a ESL tutor for Ukrainian students helping them with tests, worksheets, homework and presentations in Social Study, Geometry, Algebra, Science etc. I got a Diploma of Kharkov State University and I completed a full course of the named University and I was awarded the qualification of Philologist. I studied 33 philologist courses. I have 3 years of experience as a teacher in middle school in Kharkov, 4 years experience as a tutor in Kharkov Pedagogical University, 8 years experience as an assistant of supervisor in People Ukrainian Academy.

As a full time student and a full time employee of the General Electric Company I did not have the time to goof around. I had to be driven and utilize my time to accomplsh the most amount in the least amount of time. Therefore I have been able to use my experience to help students learn quickly and easily. I have spent time with students of all ages and have learned how to make connections with them. As a substitute teacher I have taught in every subject in every grade level. However, English is where I am strongest.
