Experienced Graphic Artist and Administrative Manager

I have been in the field of Graphic Arts as a freelancer since 2006. I attained my Associates degree (Graphic Arts) in 2007, completed the Bachelor’s degree (Graphic Arts) in 2011, and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2017. During the last 20 years, I have had four children. They are ages 8 (girl), 11 (girl), 24 (boy), and 25 (girl). My oldest also has a three year old baby boy. I am now living in Boise with my youngest daughter, our cat Macy and a 5 ½ month old puppy that is training to be my service dog. I retired from the Air Force in 2009. Initially, I like to find out the basics. I want to know their underlying assumptions in any part of academia, whether it's math or science. I have come to find that the very simplest of assumptions can mislead students. I like to start each problem with a new set of assumptions, or a "given", "find", and "solution" step-by-step process. This allows the student to see the problem as a whole and if there are problems, be able to identify where they are beginning whether it's in the initial assumption or in the solution step.
I have spent the last five years attaining my BS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Idaho. I started as an Adjunct Instructor at ISU for the Geomatics Engineering program for the 2007-2008 school year. Prepare for class setup the curriculum, homework, grading and test for 10-12 students. I went to ITT Technical Institute following that and was offered to Chair School of Drafting & Design. I taught and ran the department for 2 years. I was in charge of 4-10 teachers and 170+ students.
I believe in identifying the learning style of the student which can take some time with some. Are they a visual learner I draw pictures, maps, charts and video; if an audio learner tapes, lecture, youtube, video, etc,.. and if a kinesthetic learner then they need the hands on experience to develop the learning that is needed, so then standing back to guide the thought process without doing it for them.
