I have been in many tutoring sessions myself helping wise and observation wise, because I've been wanting to tutor for a while now. I have been on high and regular honor role many times. I am a few years out of high school, and I've taken several college classes. My AP knowledge spans almost every subject. I can help with almost all high school level classes and below. The various sciences are probably my best subjects, however my knowledge of Biology is fairly limited. I have tutored a few High School Freshman before in a program called "Senior Mentoring" I have also helped out a few family friends to get the grade to graduate.
This really depends on the subject, however, I like to do drills to keep basic skills sharp, and to learn new skills. Each student is different, and will need slightly adjusted methodology. I'm also very open to suggestion.

My comments on tutoring World History : I have taught this subject at both primary and secondary levels in my school district.

I have worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for the past 8 years. I am currently attending school to become a special education teacher. Interactive modeling of examples, repetition, and simplifying subject matter are key components of my teaching style.
