I have been in many tutoring sessions myself helping wise and observation wise, because I've been wanting to tutor for a while now. I have been on high and regular honor role many times. All through 7th and 6th grade, and now 8th. I get amazing grades and believe in hard work is the key to success and that asking for help in the long run is not wrong at all,no ones perfect. I graduated from Sonoma State with a BA in English, Single subject emphasis. I am taking a year off before I go back to get my teaching credential in reading. My commitment to education can be found very simply. At 28 years old, I decided to go back to college to complete my final two years of school. I attained my BA 3 years later, having had to work full time to support my wife and two young children. My goal is, at some point, to return to school to attain my teaching credential, so I can fulfill my dream of being an English teacher.

As the oldest of five children, my 15+ years of tutoring experience includes helping my siblings in their homework when we were growing up. I was taught at a early age to be the best I possibly could. I was taught to do my best. That has stuck with me all the way through college. I have earned a BS degree in Communication which has given me a knowledge of how to write effectively. I took an editing course which focused on the fundamentals of writing along with correct editing skills. I have had the opportunity to teach individuals in their home while serving a church mission for two years. Also within my church I have taught children the doctrinal basics of the church.
