My style of teaching is what I would call "upbeat". I like to involve the students so as to allow them an opportunity to feel they are part of the class. Lectures can lead to students losing interest. I incorporate a touch of humor, and later quiz the students on their lessons. Reinforcment of the material is important--meaning that I have a follow-up session to see if material is retained. Most importantly, I provide encouragement.
