My comments on tutoring Journalism : Minored in writing at Loyola Marymount and took Journalism 1 and 2. I also was a history major, which required a great deal of research writing.

I think people learn best when they are in a supportive and exciting environment. Education should engage students on multiple levels. I emphasis critical thinking skills and multi-faceted learning rather than asking students to spit back information that they won't retain. Journalism is one of my top subjects! I am an experienced news and features writer, in my seventh year of employment for a weekly newspaper in Chino and Chino Hills.
