I stress teaching fundamental principles through an interactive teaching style where students actively participate in learning and solving problems. It is important that students understand fundamental concepts. Relying solely on rote memorization of facts will not lead to success science and math. For younger students I use hands-on demonstrations and visual aids as tools to teach basic scientific principles in a fun and active environment.
