I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree. My wife and I homeschooled our children through the primary grades. I taught sciences. While an Employee at IBM, I wrote and taight technical courses. Physics is my forte and I love talking about and teaching the subject. I am especially helpfull to students challenged by word problems. My teaching experience includes English/language arts at the high school level in a suburban district, middle school in an urban district, private school and community college as an adjunct instructor. After having subsequently pursued an alternative career in financial services, I am currently operating as a sole proprietor and have continued my classroom instruction experience for the last three years teahing English as a second language to adult international students on a volunteer basis one evening a week. Since class size has been between three to ten students, I can individualize my approach.
